The images in this book document the paintings created during Nichols’ MA exploring his personal experience of how the digital and Painting intersect. Throughout his MA Nichols moved away from 10 years working solely on a square format and expanded to include circles and materials such as aluminium.
This 100 page book has been meticulously designed by the artist himself; from the overall format, to the paper chosen to best depict the reflectivity of the paintings.
Each book will be signed and hand finished with 5 paintings by Nichols, the same as those that decorate his studio and inform his work.
